Women’s Residential Substance Use Treatment

A PATH TO LASTING RECOVERY

Comprehensive Long-Term Recovery for Women

Ibis Healthcare provides specialized women's residential substance use treatment designed to address moderate to severe substance use disorders through comprehensive, gender-specific care. Our residential program offers women a safe, supportive environment where they can focus entirely on recovery, healing, and building the foundation for lasting recovery.

Located in Tampa, our women's residential facility understands that addiction affects women differently than men, requiring specialized treatment approaches that address trauma, relationships, parenting responsibilities, and the unique social pressures women face in their recovery journey.

Why Choose Women’s Residential Treatment?

  • Extended Recovery Time Our 3–6-month residential program provides the extended time needed for women to address severe substance use disorders, develop coping strategies, and build a strong foundation for long-term recovery.
  • Gender-Specific Programming Women-only treatment environments allow participants to focus on issues specific to women's addiction experiences, including trauma recovery, family dynamics, and gender-based challenges.
  • Comprehensive Support System 24/7 residential care ensures women receive continuous support during the critical early stages of recovery, when the risk of relapse is highest.
  • Trauma-Informed Care Our program recognizes that many women with substance use disorders have experienced trauma, and we provide specialized trauma therapy as part of comprehensive treatment.

Specialized Focus Areas

Severe Substance Use Disorders

Our program specializes in treating women with severe addiction to alcohol, opioids, methamphetamines, cocaine, and other substances requiring intensive, long-term residential intervention.

Co-Occurring Mental Health Conditions

Integrated treatment for women experiencing both primary substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

Trauma-Informed Care

Understanding that many women have experienced trauma that contributes to their substance use, our entire program is built on trauma-informed principles. We create safety, build trust, and provide specialized trauma therapies including EMDR, ART and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy to help women process and heal from past experiences.

Parenting Women

Moms in addiction treatment deserve support that nurtures both their healing and role as mothers. With compassionate guidance, these women can focus on their own well-being while also working toward reuniting with their children in a safe and loving way. Through supported visitation, on site parenting classes and coordination with external partners, moms in our program are given opportunities to strengthen the mother-child bond to heal, grow and create lasting change for themselves and their families.
