Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program

With the right care and support, recovery isn’t just possible - it’s within reach.

A PATH TO LASTING RECOVERY

Your Path to Recovery Starts Here

Taking the first step toward recovery is courageous. At Ibis Healthcare's Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program, we understand that addiction is a medical condition—not a moral failing. Our compassionate team is here to support you through every stage of your recovery journey with proven treatment that works.

A Comprehensive Approach to Healing

Recovery is about more than just stopping drug use, it's about rebuilding your life. Our MAT program combines FDA-approved medications (Methadone or Subutex) with counseling, support services, and medical care to give you the best chance at lasting recovery.

Our philosophy is simple: We believe recovery is possible for everyone. We recognize that addiction is an illness, and we're here to provide help for you and your family as you navigate the path to wellness. Recovery is a lifelong journey, and we'll walk alongside you every step of the way.

Recovery touches every aspect of life. That's why we offer:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Family education and support
  • Case management services
  • Mental health services
  • Life skills training

Specialized Care

We provide culturally sensitive care and services for non-English speaking individuals. We also offer specialized support for pregnant women, ensuring both mother and baby receive the comprehensive care they need. For mothers who need additional support, our Family Treatment Services program provides comprehensive resources to help you and your baby thrive together.

Understanding Medication Assisted Treatment

What is Methadone?

Methadone has been successfully treating opioid addiction since the 1960s. This FDA-approved medication eliminates withdrawal symptoms and reduces cravings, allowing you to focus on rebuilding your life. Taken orally once daily, Methadone has a long track record of safety and effectiveness when used as prescribed.

What is Subutex?

Subutex (buprenorphine) is another FDA-approved medication for opioid addiction treatment. It works by reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms, helping you stabilize as you work toward recovery.

The goal of medication-assisted treatment is simple: to prevent withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings, and help you regain control of your life whether that means returning to work, reconnecting with family, or pursuing education and personal growth.

Your Treatment Journey

Getting Started

Beginning treatment is easier than you might think. Our welcoming team will guide you through:

  • Initial Assessment - A comprehensive evaluation to understand your unique needs and create your personalized treatment plan
  • Medical Evaluation - A complete physical exam to ensure safe, effective treatment
  • Counseling Match - Connection with a primary counselor who will support you throughout your journey

Building Toward Independence

As you progress in treatment and demonstrate stability, you'll earn increased take-home medication privileges. This graduated system rewards your commitment to recovery and helps you transition back to independent living while maintaining the support you need.

Most patients remain in treatment for at least a year—and often longer. There's no rush. Everyone's recovery timeline is unique, and we'll support you for as long as you need us.
